Phoenix Music

We arrived only as a pair in phoenix! However, we are here to change things. Music scenes all over the country are struggling greatly and we are here to make a difference. Being a part of something that most people would call a family. It is about a lot more than just getting signed. Its about making a change in a community.

Most local bands don't seem to focus on community. They tend to throw up barriers between themselves and their fans because of pride or ego. We are not here to build up barriers but to break them down. We can help this music scene grow over the years. We think that others see the potential in us because we young and ambitious.

We don't believe that a band simply goes out to shows and plays some music for a few fans then goes home for the day. It's something much more profound than that. It's about connecting people, through your shirts, CD's, and your performance. We want people to find each other through music where, more often than not, people are putting each other down. That's not how we do things, we encourage everyone to support local artist and touring acts rather than judging them.

As a new addition to the music scene here in Phoenix (coming from Boise, Idaho) we have a lot to learn about how things work around here. The scene here is much stronger than it was in Boise. However, from the couple shows we have been to it still lacks in some very important areas. Lots of the same types of bands are getting booked on the same night at different venues. Some promoters do not realize how much this can hurt a scene by taking the 200 people that would have gone to 1 show and making it 100 people that go to 2 shows. This can greatly hurt a music scene because venues can bring in all the revenue to stay afloat.

As we stay here and learn we really hope to see something different here than i did back in Boise. we know that we can help this scene thrive in so many different ways through lots of different people. We are excited as a band to see what we can do here and how people respond and react to us!  Our goal is to leave this scene having helped strengthened it to its fullest potential. Everything is on the line, our livelihoods depend on us making a difference here.
